The road to the Telecel Ghana Music Awards is heating up, and this weekend, all eyes turn to Koforidua as the highly anticipated TGMA Xperience Concert lands in the Eastern Region.
Scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Koforidua Youth Resource Centre Stadium, the free-entry event is poised to deliver an electrifying prelude to the main awards season. The show kicks off at 4 PM, promising an immersive live music experience for fans across the region.
Star-Studded Lineup Ready to Deliver
This year’s Xperience Concert boasts a dynamic lineup featuring some of Ghana’s most in-demand performers. Headliners include Stonebwoy, Medikal, and Wendy Shay, alongside gospel powerhouse Piesie Esther and rising talents Lasmid and Kasar.
Known for their commanding stage presence and hit-filled catalogs, these artistes are expected to deliver high-energy performances, blending fan favorites with interactive moments that define the Xperience Concert brand.
Bringing TGMA Closer to the Fans
Organized by Charterhouse, the concert is part of a broader strategy to extend the TGMA experience beyond Accra and into other regions across the country.
According to Robert Klah, Head of Corporate Communications at Charterhouse, the decision to host the event in Koforidua reflects a commitment to inclusivity and nationwide engagement.
“We believe this presents a rare opportunity for residents in the Eastern Region to see some of their favourite musicians perform live on one stage without having to travel to Accra,” he shared with Graphic Showbiz.
A Nationwide Experience
Beyond the live audience, fans across Ghana won’t miss out. The concert will be streamed live on Charterhouse’s official social media platforms, allowing viewers nationwide to tap into the energy in real time.
Over the years, the TGMA Xperience Concert has evolved into one of the most exciting build-up events on the awards calendar, offering a vibrant and accessible platform to celebrate Ghanaian music while connecting artistes directly with their audiences.
More Activities Leading to the Main Event
As anticipation builds toward the main awards night in May, several other initiatives are underway. These include high school tours led by KiDi, alongside workshops and industry-focused events designed to spotlight emerging talent and deepen conversations within the music ecosystem.
With momentum building and fan excitement at an all-time high, the TGMA 2026 season is shaping up to be one of the most engaging yet.
