Shatta Wale Calls for Calm Amid Renewed Stonebwoy Comparisons

Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has appealed to his fans to stop comparing him with fellow musician Stonebwoy, saying the constant rivalry debates do not reflect his personal stance.

In a TikTok live session on Friday, February 7, 2026, a widely circulated video shows the self-styled Dancehall King addressing the long-running rivalry narrative between his fan base, Shatta Movement, and Stonebwoy’s Bhim Nation.

Shatta Wale urged supporters on both sides to refrain from dragging the two camps into unnecessary arguments, stressing that he does not endorse the comparisons.

“Stop arguing about Bhim Nation and us. We don’t want that,” he said, making it clear that he prefers peace over fan-driven rivalry.

During the live session, Shatta Wale also questioned the basis of the recurring comparisons, suggesting that they often ignore the different career timelines of the two artistes. He reminded viewers that his journey in the music industry began much earlier.

“Do you think your artiste entered this industry before me?” he asked rhetorically.

His comments come amid renewed online debates sparked by recent music releases from both artistes, which have reignited rivalry discussions across social media platforms.

Shatta Wale’s remarks appear aimed at easing tensions between fan groups and shifting focus away from rivalry toward individual artistic growth and longevity in the music industry.
